The district honor ensemble is open to all EHS Band members. It uses portions of the same audition material as Colorado All State and is a strong first honor-band experience. Wind Symphony and Wind Ensemble members are strongly recommended to audition. Schoology also has CSU tutorial links for excerpts.
Audition materials are shared with All State on the director’s Drive folder. Submit via Schoology and the district form below.
Auditions are free. If selected, participation cost is $20.
Preparing an audition develops tone, technique, confidence, goal setting, and musical independence even when a student is not selected.
