The district honor ensemble is an audition-based opportunity announced each year. Erie communications have described it as a strong first honor-band experience and have especially encouraged Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble students to participate.
Preparing an audition develops tone, technique, confidence, goal setting, and musical independence even when a student is not selected.
Dates, forms, and requirements change every year. Students should wait for the current district release instead of using old forms.
