These are not permanent Erie ensembles, but they are important extensions of the EHS Band experience. Preparing an audition builds tone, technique, confidence, goal setting, and musical independence even when a student is not selected.
Both pathways use shared materials on Drive. Auditions are due to Mr. Fruits by November 19, 2026.
SVVSD Honor Band brings selected musicians from across St. Vrain Valley Schools together for focused rehearsals and a district concert. Erie communications have especially encouraged Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble students to participate.
A high-level audition opportunity for eligible high-school musicians. Selected students rehearse and perform with musicians from across Colorado.
This pathway should be treated separately from concert-band All State processes. Students should wait for the current jazz-specific release.
