Practice priorities: Jump and Living on a Prayer first, plus Maximum Strength Warm Up. Use only your assigned part. Music and warm-ups are distributed through current director communications (not posted publicly on this site).

Joining the marching band family

EHS Marching Band runs summer band camp, local parades, weekly after-school rehearsals, and weekly football games before students transition into spring concert settings.

No audition is required for brass or woodwind. Percussion students use the drumline placement process.

Band Camp 2026 — look back

Camp is complete. Here’s the season-launch story for parents and students who want the recap — not a live packing guide.

Uniforms & performance attire

Nike tracksuits + EHS band ball caps are casual / early-season wear (football Sep 4 uses full tracksuit; hoodie for percussion). Initial BSN shop closed Aug 3; Round 2 makeup window closed Aug 20. Returning students with a proper fit do not need to replace track attire. Percussion needed pants and hats from that order; drumline hoodies are ordered separately.

Super suits (formal late-season / high-profile performance uniforms) are being prepped by the uniform committee. Members who have not submitted measurements should use the sizing form ASAP.

Where is the music?

Show music and warm-ups are shared through current director communications to protect copyright permissions. Ask section leaders or Mr. Fruits if you need access.

When did BSN attire orders close?

Initial shop Aug 3; Round 2 makeup closed Aug 20. Super-suit measurements still use the sizing form if you haven’t submitted yet.

What replaced the live camp guide?

Camp is over — see Camp look-back for the recap and Marching updates for current season info.

Do I need a new tracksuit?

Not if your current set fits and meets requirements.

Are black tennis shoes OK?

Fully black tennis shoes OK this season only. Prescribed marching shoes preferred; required starting fall 2027. Pay $48 RevTrak (Band Shoes) if you received the group order.

How do students communicate?

Leaders use Slack. Some sections also use Discord or GroupMe for student-to-student chat.

What is the Band Leadership Team?

A student leadership group that supports the director and ensembles — rehearsals, logistics, communication, and peer culture. Roles are managed within the program; ask Mr. Fruits about opportunities. Brief overview on the Ensembles page.
