Summer band camp, local parades, weekly after-school rehearsals, and weekly football games. No audition required for woodwinds, brass, or Color Guard. Register for MU1008 Marching Band.
Separate fall percussion class. Instrument placement is based on audition, attitude, work ethic, and ensemble fit. Register for MU1300 Percussion Ensemble. Spring: Concert Band or Symphonic Band pathways.
Starts after marching season and continues through spring. Previous band experience required; no audition. Register for MU1101B Concert Band (spring).
Advanced spring ensemble for students with strong fundamentals. Audition required. Auditioning students register for Concert Band while awaiting placement; returning members are not required to re-audition.
Top daytime concert placement above Symphonic Band. Placement comes from the Symphonic audition pool and the director’s ensemble needs.
Supplemental advanced ensemble beyond the school-day concert program. Membership and instrumentation follow current director guidance.
Year-long class with concerts, community events, and regional festivals. Selection is based on audition. Wind players should also be registered for marching and spring concert pathways.
